CRITIQUE:
BABY PUPPY DOG. (1)
1. Mr.
G. Ginley.—RATHLEAGUE RAY OF GLORY.
Just 4 months old and what
a lovely baby. For one so young everything
was in proportion. Good head shape with
good clean eye and correct bite for a puppy.
Plenty of bone, stood with level top line
and good angulation on stifle. Shown in
lovely condition and movement front and
back for a baby puppy was excellent.
MINOR PUPPY DOG. (1)
1. Mr.

Very pleasing quality puppy
of just under 7 months old. Good conformation
for one so young. Good head shape with gentle

good bone and feet. Growing nice and even
consequently level topline. Movement OK.
just not “quite” right on the day.

Good body and bone. Broad
muzzle. Would have liked a darker eye. Unfortunately
was retaining back dew claws. Shown in good
coat. Did not move well on the day.
OPEN DOG (3)
1. Ms.
L. McKee—BERNADINSKI MONTGOMERY.
This dogs qualities outweighed
the fact that he was not my “type”. Good
stop and bite. Nice dark clean eye. Good
bone with correct feet. Broad chest, level
topline. In good body and condition. Effort
had been made to show this dog clean and
trimmed. Both dog and owner very well presented.
Moved well. (Green Star.) (N.O.B.)

G. Barry—BARNAHELY BEAVER KRAUSE.
Gentle expression. Good
bone. Unfortunately lacked width of chest.

BABY PUPPY BITCH. (1).
1. Mr.
P. O’Rourke—CASTLEPOOK GADIZ.
Another lovely 4 month old
baby. As in the dog baby puppy everything
was in the right proportions for one so
young. Lovely head shape, so pretty, such
a “sweetie”. Good clean dark eye. Good bite.
Plenty of bone and good feet. In lovely
condition. Moved excellent both front and
rear even with an inexperienced handler.
Would have taken both baby puppies home
with me.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH. (2).
Mr. & Mrs. A&A Long-Doyle—LONGSDYLE
RAZZLE DAZZLE.
Sister to Minor Puppy Dog.
Again a quality puppy. Good conformation
for her age, very pretty little girl. Preferred
her head to her brothers. Nice dark eye.
Broad muzzle with good stop. Correct bite.
Good width of chest, feet fine. In good
condition. Moved well. (Best Puppy.)
2. Mrs.
M. Sheehan—CASTLEPOOK COSMOSPOLITAN.
Longer in the nose than
1st and lighter in eye but plenty of bone
with good feet. Well shaped rib cage, good
angulation on stifle. In good body and condition.
Moved fine.

1. Mrs.
M. Sheehan—CASTLEPOOK COSMOSPOLITAN.

cage. Unfortunately another retaining back
dew claws and not in the best of condition
on the day.
JUNIOR BITCH (2).
1. Mrs.
M. Sheehan—CASTLEPOOK CHLOTILDE.
Good stop and bite with
clean eye. Needed more width across the
skull and muzzle. Nevertheless a well balanced
bitch with a good turn of stifle. Well muscled
on the rear quarters. Shown in good condition.
Moved well.
Miss. C. Brady—KILCRON ISSY
BUNNY.
YEARLING BITCH (1)
1. Mr.
& Mrs. S & M Power— ROMENDA APACHE
Good stop with clean dark
eye. Correct bite. Level top line. Good
angulation on stifle. In good coat but lacked
bulk and bone. Lovely action in both front
and rear movement. Unfortunately general
outline on the move just spoiled by tail
carriage. Shown and handled well.
MAIDEN BITCH (0)
NOVICE BITCH (1)
1. Mr.
& Mrs. S & M Power— ROMENDA SHAWNEE
I felt this young squaw
was better than her sister in Yearling Bitch.
Good clean dark eye, correct bite and good
feet. Plenty of reach of neck with broad
chest and nice deep rib cage. Unfortunately~,
lacks bone and substance as in her sister.
Moved really well with “correct” tail carriage.
Again shown and handled well.
GRADUATE BITCH (2)
1. Withheld.
2. Mrs.
M. Sheehan—BARNAHELY BILPA.
A well bodied bitch with
clean eye, good bite, level topline with
good turn of stifle. Movement not her forte.
3. Miss.
C. Brady— KILCRON ISSY BUNNY.
LIMIT BITCH (2)
1. Mr.
B. Grogan—OATFIELD VENUS.

length in neck.
Shown in good body and condition.
Moved fine. (Res. Green Star.)
2. Mrs.
M. Sheehan—BARNAHELY BUSSLETON.
Clean eye, good bite. Plenty
of depth in chest. Level topline. Unfortunately
out of coat
OPEN BITCH (3).
1. Mr.

Not the most imposing of
heads but the overall a pleasing picture.
Good conformation with enough body and bone
for her size. Clean dark eye, broad muzzle,
good reach of neck with level top line.
Lovely angulation. In excellent condition.
Shown and handled well and once settled
moved well. (Green Star)
2. Mrs.
G. Barry—BARNAHELY BRUNCHILLY
A pretty bitch with pleasing
skull shape, clean dark eye although would
have liked them tighter. Broad chest with
level top line. Good turn of stifle. Handled
well, unfortunately out of coat and again
as her sisters before her, movement not
her forte.
